Panel Statements:
Besides being one of the better documentaries of 2003, this is the year's best horror movie, tracing the rise of The Corporation as though it were some 1,000-limbed monster rising from a swamp.
— David Spaner
I've always been a sucker for a thought provoking documentary and Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott's feature documentary The Corporation really got me thinking. Fascinating and fact filled in an entertaining and amusing way. The Corporation has a tough act to follow in the footsteps of a Michael Moore documentary, but it runs deep and definitely has something important to say about the way corporations work.
— Sandy Wilson
Documentary 101: tell us something we don't know and do it entertainingly. I didn't know that corporations are considered individuals under the law - so why not hold them to the same standards as the rest of us? I was entertained to see them judged as generally psychotic.
— Denis Seguin
A film appropriately full of righteous indignation about the way our world has been transformed by privatization and globalization. A sincere and inspirational call to arms against the pathological pursuit of profit and power by corporations. Oh yeah... and it's got a sense of humour too.
— Jeremy Podeswa
