MARTIN BILODEAU

Martin Bilodeau is a film critic and columnist for the Montreal daily Le Devoir, which he joined in 1995. He also contributes on a monthly basis to the magazine Elle Quèbec. From 2001 to 2004, he was the appointed film critic for the radio magazine Aux arts, etc., produced by the French CBC for which he continues to freelance on a regular basis. Over the years his reviews and features appeared in many other publications including L’Actualitè, Voir and the press agency Mèdiafilm.

MICHEL COULOMBE

Michel Coulombe is the programmer of Silence, on court!, the NFB’s Web platform for short films. A cultural commentator for Radio-Canada on both the radio and the Web, he also works as film critic for the RDI network. Coulombe is a regular contributor to the magazine Ciné-Bulles and the French quarterly Bref. He directed the Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois for 14 years and has authored books on filmmakers Denys Arcand, Jean Beaudin and Gilles Carle. He also co-authored and is presently preparing the fourth edition of the Dictionnaire du cinéma québécois.

SANDRA CUNNINGHAM

Over the past five years Sandra Cunningham has produced and co-produced a series of high profile international co-productions including SAINT JUDE, BEING JULIA. WHERE THE TRUTH LIES, THE STATEMENT, and ARARAT. She also produced Robert Lepage's POSSIBLE WORLDS. She is an active member of the advisory board for the Toronto International Film Festival Group’s Industry Centre, is the co-chair of the Feature Film Committee of the Canadian Film and Television Production Association, as well as the DGC’s advisory board for Montage Magazine.

STACEY DONEN

As part of the Canadian programming team for The Toronto International Film Festival, Donen programmes one of the world's most renowned showcases for Canadian films. For the past six years, he has also programmed for the Toronto Jewish Film Festival and was the programmer of a special Canadian sidebar at FebioFest in Prague. He has spoken and has sat on panels including the National Screen Institute’s FilmExchange in Winnipeg, the ImagineNative Film Festival, and the Images Festival of Independent Film in Toronto.

ANDREA DORFMAN

One of Canada's most promising, versatile and truly independent young filmmakers, Andrea Dorfman started her career by making Super 8 films with friends while studying at McGill University. Director of LOVE THAT BOY and PARSLEY DAYS (Canada’s Top Ten 2001), Dorfman has also directed a feature documentary and co-wrote a series for CBC-TV. She is currently in development on her third feature, CRÈME DE LE CRÈME, with co-writer Jennifer Deyell, and tends to business at Toronto’s Knit Café, of which she is a co-owner.

STEPHEN HEGYES

Stephen Hegyes' producing credits include: THE LAST WEDDING, GOING THE DISTANCE and WHITE NOISE. Beyond producing and managing Brightlight Pictures. He is the co-chair of the Canadian Film and Television Producers Association (CFTPA) Feature Film Committee board.

BRUCE KIRKLAND

For the past 25 years Bruce Kirkland has been the senior film critic of The Toronto Sun. In addition to enduring the slings and arrows of outrageous Hollywood, Kirkland has covered 29 of the 30 Toronto International Film Festivals and has attended all but one of the Genie Awards since they were founded, giving him an access to and an appreciation for the riches available in Canadian cinema.

GABRIELLA MARTINELLI

Gabriella Martinelli's film career spans from producing various television commercials and TV variety specials to collaborating with David Cronenberg on several features, including M. BUTTERFLY and NAKED LUNCH, she also produced ROMEO AND JULIET. She currently works as President and CEO of Capri Films.

Award winning filmmaker, and media activist Velcrow Ripper creates powerful, cinematic documentaries that deal with the central issues of our times.  His films include the Canadian Academy Award (Genie) winning BONES OF THE FOREST, and the multi-award winning SCAREDSACRED  (Canada’s Top Ten 2004).

JULIA ROSENBERG

Producer and head of development at Serendipity Films since 1998, Julia Rosenberg currently heads up her own production company, January Films. Her producing credits include the Ocscar® nominated BEING JULIA and the curling comedy MEN WITH BROOMS. Rosenberg was also an associate producer on Atom Egoyan's "ARARAT, and produced the eight-part TV series G-SPOT, airing this spring on the Movie Network and Movie Central in Canada.
