Access to the Media Library is restricted to members of the press. To request a login and password, please email proffice@tiff.net with your information including name, media outlet and intended use of our press materials. Press materials are for editorial purposes only.
How do I set up an interview with a TIFF spokesperson?
Please contact the Communications Department and provide all necessary information including interviewee request, media outlet, deadline, and all relevant contact details. We check this email address regularly and will get back to you with next steps.
Can I film or photograph inside TIFF Bell Lightbox?
All requests to shoot inside TIFF Bell Lightbox must be submitted to the Communications Department. Please note we require a minimum of 24 to 48 hours advance notice to accommodate these requests.
I want to receive your press announcements. How do I get added to your email distribution list?
The Communications Department maintains a database of media contacts and disseminates its press announcements via email to various distribution lists. We tailor these lists based on a journalist’s area of interest, beat, region and editorial timelines. Please contact us for more information on how to be added to the distribution list that best suits your needs.
Where can I go if I need accessibility support?
If you are accredited Festival media, please email contact us with your request and we will endeavor to accommodate your request where possible. (For example physical assistance, ASL, Captiview device, etc.)
Media Accreditation for TIFF 2022 is open now through Wednesday June 29th, 2022 at 5p.m. ET
Note: ALL press wishing to be accredited for TIFF 2022 must submit an application, regardless of previous TIFF accreditation history.

If you have any questions about Media Accreditation for the 47th Toronto International Film Festival, please reach out to media@tiff.net.
Accredited media will have access to Press & Industry screenings, press conferences, special events and talks, press kits, images and other press materials, information on TIFF’s programmers and Rising Stars, and access to the TIFF press office team. Access Pass holders will have the aforementioned benefits with the exception of access to Press & Industry screenings.
Applications for TIFF’s Media Inclusion Initiative are now open. Seventy-five participants will be selected to receive media accreditation, access to speaker series with film-industry professionals, press conferences for selected TIFF films, additional support from the TIFF Communications team, access to networking opportunities, access to all press & industry screenings, as well as access to professional development workshops with selected industry experts and mentors. TIFF is pleased to once again have the support of NBCUniversal, Rotten Tomatoes and the Sid Adilman Endowment Fund for this year’s Media Inclusion Initiative. Thanks to their generous support, selected participants in the Media Inclusion Initiative will also receive a stipend to enhance their Festival experience.

If you have been accredited at TIFF for five or more years OR if you have participated in the Media Inclusion Initiative prior to 2022, please do NOT apply.
Please note that those wishing to apply for the Media Inclusion Initiative must also submit a general press accreditation application.
